The fishing spots are close enough too fish a different spot or lake in the afternoon

Arizona White Mountains

We have spent many years getting to know all of the best fishing destinations’ in the White Mountains. “So many lakes  streams and so little time” We always have two or three hot spots to fish that will not be crowded as we like to get away from the masses. Whether you base camp from your RV, local lodges or rental cabins this just may be the best experience of your vacation. Give us a call and we will take it from there. This is the trip for some of the BEST trout fishing in the state. We only book two or more days on the White Mountain trips

$450.00 for one or two guest per day
$550.00 for three or four guest per day

                             "TWO DAY TRIPS"

On the two day trips we have so many options depending on your location in Arizona we will arrange to meet you or your group at your destination I like to start at about 8 am on the first day, lets say you want to fish a high mountain stream so off we go to Arizona White Mountains for a short hike to a quite spot on one of the streams that we will walk and fish for about half the day and  break for lunch then off to a new fishing spot in the afternoon. The next day you may want to start a little later 9 or 10 am so we can fish the evening hatch we will still get 8 plus fishing hours in we will take a late lunch and fish to almost sunset this can be some of the best fishing in Arizona. Evening is the best time to see wildlife I take the time to point out the wildlife that is common to see in the area like Elk Deer Turkey Bear Hawks Eagles and Wild horses are all quite common this is a awesome trip and is quit low impact.

The San Juan River in New Mexico

The San Juan River in New Mexico is one of the finest tailwater fisheries anywhere! The 4.25 miles of San Juan River quality water below Navajo Dam holds over 80,000 trout. An average San Juan River trout is 17" but fish over 20" are abundant. To fool these selective San Juan trout requires tiny flies, fine tippets, proper presentation and attention to detail. My first San Juan River fly fishing trip over 22 years ago left me skunked. Since then, I've learned a great deal about fly fishing on the San Juan River in New Mexico.
We only book two or more days on the New Mexico trips

$550.00 for one or two guest per day
$650.00 for three or four guest per day

Midges

The one constant food source for the rainbows abound throughout the river and anglers should have a box dedicated to midges with every possible pattern and size representing the various life-stages. Anglers should also be aware of other foods: mayflies, caddisflies and annelids blue winged olives (baetis) hatch twice a year, in the spring and then again in the late fall. The BWO hatch provides wonderful dry fly fishing especially on cloudy days.
The trout in the San Juan are beyond picky proper presentation is a must. These fish have seen just about every fly invented.
